A.  How to include sources

1. Read page 21 of the Writing book.  IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO THIS

IF YOU COPY WORK IT IS ILLEGAL IN UK UNIVERSITIES

IF YOU USE IDEAS FROM A BOOK AND DO NOT SAY WHERE YOU FOUND THAT INFORMATION IT IS ILLEGAL IN UK  UNIVERSITIES

2. Look at our paragraph on this website The Effectivenessof Biogas

look at the text and find the name and date of the author/writer/person/organisation who said this information

you may have to do this by searching the internet or by looking in your books (green book or reading source book).  Copy and paste the paragraphs into a word document

3.  Add the name and year of the author in brackets after the information, like this (Searing, 2014)

4. Make a list of all of the sources you have used following the APA6 style.  SHow me when you have finished

5.  When you have done this, do the same for your introduction from yesterday, then show me




B.  Peer evaluate a classmate's draft 1 of essay 1

Choose a partner who does not speak your first language.

Read thier 1st draft of essay 1

Use page 84 of the writing book and give the information to your partner
(REMEMBER TO ADVISE THEM ON SOURCES)


C.  When you finish do any writing you want to (essay 1 or project).  Use the ideas from teh feedback to help you.
